Antenatal Care
Even before birth of child, many of metabolic and genetic disorders and congenital malformations can be diagnosed in womb with the help of modern equipment and technology. Antenatal Ultrasonography is performed by an experienced personal to identify congenital abnormalities. Besides, well being of fetus can also be assessed. Antenatal Counseling is done by both Pediatrician and Obstetrician in order to prepare for labor and newborn care. Antenatal Breast Feeding classes are held monthly for expectant mothers to guide them through for adequate, proper technique and method of breast feeding. Patients likely to born before term are provided preventive treatment to avoid/prevent complications.
Neonatal Care
All deliveries are being conducted in presence of expert neonatologists/pediatrician. No child is allowed to suffer at birth. The most modern equipments are available to perform immediate/ Neonatal Resuscitation including neonatal resuscitator and other. Neonatal care is provided as per most recent recommendations. Newborn screening is done at birth for common disorders like hypothyroid and hearing deficit as per WHO and MOH guidelines. We have the most advanced equipment to deal with critical situations with state of art facilities and equipments.
Well Baby Care
Growth and Development Assessment, Screening and early detection of health problems, preventive services, anticipatory guidance, nutritional advice, health education, behavioral training is being provided on daily basis.
Paediatric ICU
Trauma and non-trauma emergencies like accidents, drowning, convulsions, unconsciousness, fever, acute abdomen, dehydration, shock, respiratory difficulty etc due to various causes are received and managed round the clock by team of expert emergency doctors and later on taken over by Intensivists.

Pediatric Department has always supported the community cause, participates in continuous medical education programs and annual healthy baby contest.
Facilities Available include:
- Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) for management of sick newborn babies. This unit is equipped with phototherapy, radiant warmers, monitors, syringe and infusion pumps for round the clock monitoring of sick new borns.
- Well baby clinic where follow up of all the newborn babies is done for developmental milestones, immunizations, looking after of parental concerns and appropriate counseling as required.
